I don't see this yielding much to simplification
Once you start dividing logs, you are changing bases.
The above can be written as
log<sub><sub>5</sub></sub>(3/5) + log<sub><sub>81/8</sub></sub>(125/8)
I suspect a typo.
Anyway, log<sub><sub>5</sub></sub>(3/5) = log<sub><sub>5</sub></sub>3 - 1
