145 degrees below the x-axis? Really? 90 degrees would be pointing straight down!
That's pointing backwards.
In any case, the components would be
x = 3.5 cos theta
y = 3/5 sin theta
where theta is measured from the x-axis.

145o below +x-axis = 360-145 = 215o CCw.
V = 3.5m[215o].
X = 3.5*Cos215 =
