2C2H6 + 7O2 ==> 4CO2 + 6H2O

g O2 needed = 3 x (7 mols H2O/2 mols C2H6) = 10.5g
Is 3 + 10,5 = 8.8 + 5.4. It isn't so the law of conservation of mass is not obeyed.
