How do you identify the limitations of an autobiography? I'm reading Born a Crime by Trevor Noah and he shares his childhood experienced during apartheid and post-apartheid. Is an example of a limitation that there is no other point of view but his as a mixed race child ?

Yes, only his point of view. Since it's autobiographical, he writes from his own viewpoint. He can guess at other people's viewpoints, but he knows only his own.
