What is the balanced chemical equation for the reaction of potassium with oxygen?

would it be: K + 0 --> K20

I am not sure can you help me?

Oxygen in the gaseous state, and uncombined with anything, is O2.
So K + O2 ==> K2O.
Now you balance it.
