Given with a = 10, b = 16, and m(angle)A=30° , determine both possible values for m(angle)B .

sinB/b = sin30°/a
sinB/16 = 0.5/10
sinB = 16*0.05 = 0.8
You know there are two angles B with sinB = 0.8
one in QI and the other in QII

53°, 127°

53°, 133°

64°, 127°

no solution

I can choose between those

so, what angle B has sinB = 0.8 ?

I promise you, it's in the list.

Angle ∠ B = β = 115.736° = 115°44'11″ = 2.02 rad right? so in these case there is no solution right?
