a 47 kg person in a rollercoaster moving through the bottom of a curved track of radius 47.7 m feels a normal force of 895 N. What is the net centripedal force acting on the person

3 answers

gravity + centripetal = normal
I’m sorry i still don’t follow. Do i add 9.8 to 885?
a = v^2/R upward
Force up - weight = centripetal force = m a
895 - 47(9.8) = 895 - 460.6 = 434.4 N centripetal force

then later if given v or R solve for the other
434.4 = 47 * v^2/R
