[(2 +7) -(3× 5] ÷2
(9 - 15) / 2
-6 / 2 = -3
Or should the parentheses and brackets be placed elsewhere?

Using PEMDAS, this parses to
2 +7 -3× 5 ÷2 (no parentheses, so do the multiplication/division next)
2 + 7 - 15÷2
2 + 7 - 7.5 - now do the add/subtract
9 - 7.5
1.5 or, 3/2
