frequency = speed / wavelength = c / 2200 cm = 3E10 / 2.2E3

That is :
3×10^8/2.2×10^-3 = 1.36×10^11

my bad ... the wave NUMBER is waves per cm ... not the wave length

frequency = speed * wavenumber = 3E8 * 2.2E3
