if you don't know how to find the area of a sector, you still won't know the area of the circle.
However, you can make a pretty good approximation if you know how to find the area of a triangle. The 32 sectors are very close to triangular in shape, have a height which is the radius of the circle, and a base which is 1/32 the circumference.
