                I just found this article about a (relatively?) recent trend for incoming kindergarteners.  I was wondering if anyone on here had heard of (or had personal experience) regarding this type of pattern before.  I have replaced the periods with the word DOT:

    I just read the article.  I suspect those children are slow learning and therefore eligible for special ed services.  If not, I think the school district could refuse to admit children who are not yet toilet trained.

    One quotation was:  "Many school districts can't legally refuse them and their diapers."  So, it might vary state by state?
