Question
i have unit 6 lesson 9 geometry foundations b surface area and volume unit test
for questions 8 and 9:
8. what are the lateral area and surface area of the cone shown below? round the answers to the nearest tenth. the figure is not drawn to scale.
A. LA= 829.4 ft^2, SA= 1,209.5 ft^2
B. LA= 829.4 ft^2, SA= 3.041.1 ft^2
C. LA= 380.1 ft^2, SA= 1,209.5 ft^2
D. LA= 380.1 ft^2, SA= 3,041.1 ft^2
THE CONE DOES NOT SHOW SO I DONT KNOW THE MEASUREMENTS
9. what is the volume of the given prism? round the answer to the nearest tenth of a centimeter. the figure is not drawn to scale.
A. 295.5 cm^3
B. 451.7 cm^3
C. 493.0 cm^3
D. 617.1 cm^3
AGAIN THE PRISM DOESNT EVEN SHOW UP ON MY TEST DOES SOMEONE HAVE THE MEASUREMENTS OR THE ANSWERS??
i really don’t wanna get a low grade bc the test didn’t show up

A. LA= 829.4 ft^2, SA= 1,209.5 ft^2
SA = LA + πr^2
πr^2 = SA-LA = 380.1 = 121π
so, r^2 = 121
r = 11
LA = πr(r+s), so
11π(11+s) = 264π
121 + 11s = 264
s = 13
sin r^2 + h^2 = s^2, h = 4√3
so, the cone has base radius 11 and height 4√3
Do the others the same way.
As for the prism, there is no way to determine its area without some indication of its sides or volume or diagonals or something!
