A recipe calls for 1/2 cup of milk for every 3/4 cup of flour how much milk is required for every cup of flour

(1/2)/(3/4) = x / 1
(3/4)x = (1/2)
x = (1/2) / (3/4)
x = (1/2) * (4/3)
x = 4/6 = 2/3
(3/4)x = (1/2)
x = (1/2) / (3/4)
x = (1/2) * (4/3)
x = 4/6 = 2/3

She means you flip 3/4 to 4/3 so you can multiply 1/2 by it and then you solve the problem, it will leave you with 2/3.

1 + 1 1/2 = 2 1/2.
If you did this, your wrong, but its okay because I did it too :)
