Homosexual marriage has been a long-going debate in the United States. Many ancient nations such as Mesopotamia believed a union was union, disregarding Marriage was a promise of two people to love each other for who they are not what they are. The rise of Christianity brought the downfall and negativity towards homosexuals. Marriage was now for producing offspring and not for love. The government could use Dr.Martin's four steps to help homosexuals by examining the issue and injustices within the matter, helping create a solution, and legalizing same-sex marriage.
A study in 2011 done by "random history" explains that there are many views on the matter of marriage. Buddhists accepted homosexual marriage while Christians frowned upon it as a "sin".Love is love, why should you be alone because of your significant other's race or gender? Opinions of higher ranked people were negative bringing hell to homosexuals. In modern day many areas of the globe still are strongly against the concept. Luckily many minds have opened to the idea that marriage is for two people who love each other and many states and countries have granted homosexual marriage. Unfortunately for people that are negative about the subject because of religious reasons is inhuman. Discrimination among one shall be a "sin".Christians believe "God loves all of his children" but have hypocrisy towards homosexuals.
