Sorry I worded it wrong it's "Which number can be inserted in the parentheses so the numbers are ordered from least to greatest?"

Basically you just need to figure out which of the numbers is between -3 and -1.

First, the number has to be negative.
If you can't recognize it just by looking at the values,
get out your handy number line and mark the points given in the sequence.
