Which are examples of the influence of British imperialism in India?
(Select all that apply.)
Britain built up Indian infrastructure, which included the construction of the fourth largest rail network in the world.
Britain did not invest in industrialization in India at a time when other world regions were rapidly industrializing.
British architecture often mixed with traditional Indian architecture to produce unique styles.
Britain gave all Indians full democratic rights and access to the highest political offices.
I believe it is the 1 and 3.

I tried the 4th as another answer and it said it is incorrect as well. Would it just be the 1st and 4th?

I don't think 4 is right.
1 and 3 are definitely right, I don't see any other correct answer.
This may be another wrong test question that is common among online schools.

I agree that only 1 and 3 are correct. Have you discussed this with your teacher?
2 is obviously not a correct choice. The first three words tell you so!!
4 is obviously not a correct choice. In all of British colonialism, when did the British ever give "full democratic rights and access to the highest political offices"? In India, there were somewhat parallel elements (police, army, courts ... ) but not "full democratic rights"!
