Is the U.S. or Texas Constitution better?
I know the facts and amendments of each but I cannot choose which is better. Can someone list some reasons why one might be better than the other to help me get some ideas for my essay. Thanks.

They have different constitutions. The Texas Constitution has over 400 amendments while the U.S. Constitution has only 27.

How are you defining "better"?

What differences do you see between the two constitutions?

My teacher asked me to answer "In your opinion, which Constitution is better AND why?" So it will be based completely on opinion. And in the U.S. constitution the power is mainly given to the president while in Texas the governor has less power. I feel that the Texas constitution might be more fair due to all of the amendments and constant changes, While the U.S. constitution has had no changes since it was written.

It looks good -- except for one factual error. The U.S. Constitution has 27 amendments -- which are changes from the original.
