Mr making himself a fursuit
Ok, for my answers it was different on the written parts, because my test is for *Science 8A unit 4 lesson 9*. my answers were:
same:
1.A- after an area is mined for copper...
2.D-reducing resource use
3.B-renewable resources
4.B-turning food scraps into compost...
5.B-sedimentation
6.A-fossil fuels
7.C- plant and animal waste
8.D-solar power
9.A-aquifer
10.D-selective cutting
11.C-they are all considered alternative...
12.D-renewable resource
13.D-using coal releases pollution...
*UNGRADED* but im QUITE sure:
14. solar panel
15. conservation
16.decompose faster
17.inexhaustible
18.hydroelectric
19.nonpoint
20.fossil fuels
21.carbon footprint
22.nuclear
23.desertification
for these you have to write it out nicely yourself but here's a summary of what i have
24. stuff about how: wind energy wouldn't create pollution, it wont work in places that are blocked off by mountains, only open places. it can create more jobs, farmers and ranchers can get paid for letting them put wind turbines on their land, and tourists might contribute money to surrounding towns if they come to see the turbines
25. ozone is found in the stratosphere(higher in the earth's atmosphere) and the troposphere(lower, like where clouds are and stuff about), in the stratosphere is keeps out harmful sunlight rays and in the troposphere it is harmful to plants and animals to breathe in. if certain gases get released into the atmosphere it will deplete the ozone layer.
make sure you read what YOUR questions are and see if these all make sense. i'd hope you could know some of these things at least and hopefully just use this to check answers *if this is your same test*. and remember from 14 on arent graded for me but i did research to check it so it should be all correct, but i cant guarantee. if you're unsure, do your own research.
