@Erika<3 is right. Since the parenthesis are around only one number, we can start from the beginning with ease. 12 x -4 = -48, and then -48 x -5 = -240. But remember, two negatives = positive. So -240 becomes 240.
12 ∙ ( - 4 ) ∙ ( - 5 ) = [ 12 ∙ ( - 4 ) ] ∙ ( - 5 ) = ( - 48 ) ∙ ( - 5 ) = 240
