volume of right circular cones total surface area is 550dm3. its radius of base is 5dm. find its total surface area

the base has area 25π dm^2
so, the height can be found using
πr^2h = 550
25πh = 550
h = 7
So, the slant height is s = √(2.5^2+7^2) = 7.43
That makes the lateral area 2πrs = 233.5
Now just add the base to the lateral area...
