The instructions say:
Container A Fold one sheet of paper in half so that the longer sides meet. Make a crease. Open the paper and fold each end in to meet at the center crease. Connect the long ends of the paper with tape. Open the shape to form a bottomless rectangular prism that is tall and narrow. If you use 8-inch by 10-inch sheet of paper, each side of the prism will measure 2 inches, and the height will be 10 inches.
Container B Fold one sheet of paper in half so that the shorter sides meet. Make a crease. Open the paper and fold each end in to meet at the center crease. Connect the short ends of the paper with tape. Open the shape to form a bottomless rectangular prism that is short and stout. If you use 8-inch by 10-inch paper, each side of the prism will measure 2.5 inches, and the height will be 8 inches.

Connect the long sides of one sheet of paper with tape. Do not make any creases. Open the shape to form a bottomless cylinder that is tall and narrow. If you use 8-inch by 10-inch paper, the cylinder will have a radius of about 1.27 inches and a height of 10 inches.
Container D Connect the short sides of one sheet of paper with tape. Do not make any creases. Open the shape to form a bottomless cylinder that is short and stout.
and I have no idea how to make these cuz the instructions make no since to me

Take it slow and easy -- one step at a time.
Fold one sheet of paper in half so that the longer sides meet. Make a crease.
Open the paper and fold each end in to meet at the center crease.

Go to the community board and see the example. Just at least build the models like in the example. Then find a calculator that shows you the work....this is important….put in the measurements into the online calculator for your 3D models you've build out of the paper. Remember you use the radius for the cylinder not the diameter. (Cut the diameter in half) Try to understand the math you're being shown. Write down that math on your portfolio. Use REASON to explain which container you'd use for whatever...cereal, candy for a small portion, medium portion etc. You can do it guys!! it might not be perfect but try !!!

Im confused. Do we only do one of the prisms or all of them?????

you make 3d shapes and predict how much candy can go in there. the directions are really confusing. try and make a bottomless rectangular prism one with the paper going horizontally and one paper going vertically. and with the cylinders put tape on one end of the paper and make sure you put only half of the tape on that one end and then make it into a circle. do that for both vertical and horizontal cylinders. its hard to explain i wish i could put pictures in here but i cant.

Here's what yall need to do: watch the video in the mod notes, then get a calculator and use the measurements in the mod notes and use this: schooltutoring.com/help/3d-volume-formulas/
to find the formulas needed if you don't know them easy-peasy.
