y = 5/x+6
y = 5/x stretches out the graph by 5 times. It increases and decreases 5 times more.
y = 5/x +6 makes your raises your graph 6 units higher.

GUYS JESUS
It's y=(1)/(x) and y=(5)/(x+6)
does this clear any confusion?

Y= a/(x-h) + K
Y=5/(x+6)
Y=1/x is the parent function
The a value (5) is greater than 1 if the a >1 it is a stretch. 5>1. The function stretches by a factor of 5
( x-h) means the graph moves horizontal right
( x+h) means the graph moves h amount of units to the left
( x+6) is 6 left compared to the parent function.
