The Great Depression caused economic problems which helped FRANZ FERDINAND take control of Italy and ADOLF HITLER become the ruler of Germany. These totalitarian dictators promised that a MONARCH political system could fix their nations’ economies and enable them to build great empires.

Yes. Mussolini was the fascist leader of Italy who was praised for making the trains run on time.
