A taxi cab is purchased for $30,000. At the end of 10 years, it is sold for scrap for $2000. Find the depreciation equation in slope-intercept form/

Consider it as having two points of the form (t, V) , where t is time and V is value
your 2 points would be (0,30000) and (10,2000)
slope = (30000-2000)/(0-10) = -2800

<b>V = -2800t + 30000</b> , ( the point (0,30000) acts like the y-intercept)
