Please help in solving this problem. 2x cube 3 = 72x

I will assume you mean:

2x^3 = 72x
if so, then
2x^3 - 72x = 0
2x(x^2 - 36) = 0
so x = 0 or x = ± 6

check my answers by subbing them back into the original equation.
