if y varies directly with x, then it must have the form
y = mx , (no constant like in y = mx + b )
evaluate 11÷8 , then 22÷16, then 33÷24
Care to re-evaluate your choice ?

Y/X = 11/8.
Y/x = 22/16 = 11/8.
Y/X = 33/24 = 11/8.
When X was doubled, Y doubled.
When X was tripled, Y tripled.
Therefore, Y varies directly with X.
Y/X = 11/8.
8y = 11x,
Y = ?
Y/x = 22/16 = 11/8.
Y/X = 33/24 = 11/8.

Alright everyone. I got 20/22 - All answers below are the right ones tho.
"IF YOU SEE ANY OF THESE ANSWERS ARE NOT MATCHING WITH WHAT YOU HAVE ON YOUR TEST, ~ DO NOT LISTEN TO ME. ~"
Use Desmos for graphing, I can't put pictures - If you see me mention desmos, then use it for that question.
Unit 6 : Lesson 10; Linear Functions Unit Test
1. yes; y = 1.625
2. no; y does not vary directly with x
3. I graphed on Desmos - It's a positive slope
4. Also on Desmos - Positive slope
5. I got this wrong, but the right answer is : 51/1; your car travels 51 miles every 1 hour.
6. 1/3
7. -2/3
8. I said infinity, which was wrong, but the right answer was 'undefined'
9. y - 3 = 5 (x - 8)
10. y + 6 = -5/8 (x + 10)
11. y - 16 = 8 (x - 2)
12. it's straight-up, at y = 0 and x = -3. I used Desmos.
Hey, look!! You're halfway!! Keep it up ! <3
13. 5x + 8y = 24 (i guessed this one but ig it was right lmao)
14. y = 3x + 4
15. perpendicular
16. neither
17. y - 9 = -3/7 (x + 4)
18. The functions have the same shape. The y-intercept of y = |x| is 0, and the y-intercept of the second function is -3.
19. The two graphs have the same shape but the second graph is shifted two units left.
20. The point of the V is at -5y. also on Desmos.
21. Desmos!!! Point of the V is at 4x !
22. Positive Correlation
Hint for 23, ;)
23. Where is the decimal rounded?
24. Go to brainly and find question 19141995
I'm not sure if this is right since my essay questions haven't been graded yet but I could barely read the question so yea. :P
