Could someone tell me if i am right?
At the amusement park, you decide to ride the Ferris wheel, which has a maximum height of 50 meters and a diameter of 35 meters. It takes the wheel 11 minutes to make one revolution. Write the sinusoidal function, f(t), that models the height of your chair at any time, t.
I got f(t)=11sin(2Pi/35t)+50

the period of cos(kt) is 2pi/k = 11. So, k=2pi/11
The amplitude is the radius, 35/2
The axle is at the maximum minus the radius: 50-35/2 = 65/2
So, assuming you get on at the bottom when t=0, you have
f(t) = 65/2 - 35/2 cos(2pi/11 t)
