1,4,5,7 are wrong.

4(y - 4) = 8
y-4 = 2
y = 6

or

4y-16 = 8
4y = 24
y = 6

what, you're not gonna take another look at them?
You got some right, so try again on the other two.
When you get your answer, try replacing the variable with a value (say, 1 or 2) and see whether the two expressions evaluate to the same number.
