Which of these sentences contains an error in verb usage?
A. Tim likes to watch the sun rise.
B. I rose my hand in class for the first time.
C. In the summer, I like to lie in a hammock. (I picked this)
D. Martha told her friend to lay artwork on the table.(Or this??)

I am still deciding if I should pick C or D.

Neither c nor d is correct.
Lie means to recline.
Lay means to put.

1. Many people pretend to be Ms. Sue and give out the wrong answers on purpose to make people fail their tests. I've seen it happen before.
