20 inches ( 1 foot/3 inches) = (20/3) feet = 6 2/3 feet
by the way
of course we all know
1 foot = 12 inches
so this is the same as saying
6feet + (2/3)foot *(12)inches/foot = 6 feet 8 inches

Are you sure it was not 3 feet for every inch?
