Can someone tell me how I did on this poem or if I need to fix something

Poem #1
Fear of death

I live day by day,
With the fear of death to come.
I wake to pray,
God guide me through autumn.

My faith held me strong,
But not enough to stop my cries.
My only wish is to live long,
For the death I fear is wise.

Poem #2
10 Minute Spill (We had to use a famous adage, and use five of the following words- whir, blackberry, mother, lick, cliff, needle, voice, cloud)

The blackberry bush stood still,
Birds begin to hum and whir.
I wander around the forest,
Following my mother, Dearest.
Our existence feels like a blur.

I took a step back.
To witness a lone cloud, drifting away.
Don't put all your berries in one basket,
For it will lead to your casket.
Listen to my voice today.
