And this one too, 4x + 6 < -6.

- 2/5 x - 9 < 9/10
- 2/5 x < 9 9/10
Now we have to ditch those pesky mixed numbers
-2/5 x < 99/10
x > -5/2 * 99/10
x > -99/4
Be sure to switch direction when multiplying by a negative value

4x + 6 < -6
4x< -12
x < -3
No switch this time

Multiply both sides by 10:
-4x - 90 < 9,
-4x < 99,
Divide by -4 and reverse inequality sign:
X > -99/4.
