Hi, again, Can you help me understand this?
1 Identify one way to rewrite the expression using the distributive property. 8 * 19=
2 Identify one way to rewrite the expression using the distributive property. 2(9+3)
3 Simplify using the Distributive property 7*48
4 Simplify using the Distributive property 9*81
Please help me understand this, thank you!!

= 160 - 8
= 152
or if you want to get fancy
8 * 19 = (10-2)(20-1) = 200 - 10 - 40 + 2
= 200 - 50 + 2
= 152

Using the distributive property, an expression equivalent to 48 + 30 is

Answer: (8 x 20) - ( 8 x 1)

2. 2(9 + 3)
Answer: (2 x 9) + (2 x 3)

3. 7 x 48
Answer: (7 x 50) - (7 x 2) = 350 - 14 = 336

4. 9 x 81
Answer: (9 x 80) + (9 x 1) = 729

I took the assessment and got 100%, these are the right answers.
