A small cube has a length of 2 inches. How many small cubes are needed to make a larger cube whose base has a perimeter of 32 inches?

side length of big one = 32/4 = 8
volume = 8*8*8
little cube volume = 2*2*2
ratio = 4*4*4= 16*4 = 64
