Write the equation of the line that passes through the points (3, -2) and (-2, 8) using the slope-intercept form.
My slope is -2
So if I substitute in one of the points, -2 = -2(3) + b
-2 = -6 + b
Add 6 to both sides and b = 4
So my equation is: y = -2x + 4
But.....the answer says y = -2x -1???
