Both Football & Soccer need fields of grass to play on.They both require you to wear uniforms. football is more physical then soccer. In soccer you can't use your hands to handle the ball. In football you need protective gear to protect your body.
In Soccer the field is more bigger. Football is a national sport, Soccer is an international sport. In football theirs a better chance of you getting injured than in soccer. in Football you throw and kick the football. In soccer your feet, knees, & head are the only parts of your body you use to move the ball.
Both contain 11 men on the field. Soccer was invented around Around 476 BC to 221 BC, a sport called cuju was popularly played in China. The name is roughly translated as "kick the ball with foot." Football in 1920 the American Professional Football Association was formed. This league changed its name to the National Football League (NFL) two years later, and eventually became the major league of American football. Soccer is an older sport than football.
