And your answer is?

Answered by Kat
I think it is c.
Answered by Ms. Sue
Nope. Check the suffix "ity."

Well I put d originally on my test at school and they said it was wrong. Other kids said they answered b and they said that was wrong. So my second guess was c and you say that is wrong. The answer isn't A is it? If so I struggle even more with that..

I am confused sorry..

Severity is the quality of being harsh. Mrs. Moran is known for the severity of her punishments.

I don't know why "they" said d was wrong. However, we see a lot of errors coming from online schools.

Thank you I knew it .. I knew it when I looked up ity it stated quality or condition. Plus I knew the other one's were wrong. Definition of severity is the fact or condition of being severe..

Yes. This has been a downer for you. You got the question right in the first place but you've been given the run-around -- apparently by an inept "teacher."
