Do you think air pressure changes faster as you move horizontally or vertically within the atmosphere? Explain your reasoning.

Faster? I assume you mean change in pressure per distance, not per time time. This is a very sloppy question. The density of air gets very small as one goes upward, so pressure is less. Horizontally, there is no change in density.
