The son, Ignacio, is a grown man. He was injured while commiting a crimw. The nearest help was miles away and is father carried him on his shoulders to get him to medical help. After getting him to the help that he needed, the father said that he never wanted to see him again.
So I guess the father is really aggravated with his son.
