Thanks but can you sum it up? It’s a bit overwhelming.
Answered by Reiny
To construct a perpendicular bisector from a point on the line, think of the straight line as 180°, and you are bisecting that 180° angle.
The steps are the same as bisecting any given angle using only a straight edge and a compass.

google is your friend.
If you search for either of these items, you will find clear diagrams and instructions, and even videos.

16.) A name of a segment in and the name of a line both use letters like AB however, when you write a segment you have a line going over the letters. Writing a line is the same way except it has a arrow on both sides going opposite directions meaning that it is never ending.
17.)Consulting a perpendicular bisector and constructing angle bisector are similar because they both need to find where the arcs meet. They are different because a perpendicular bisector splits a segment into two congruent segments and an angle bisector splits an angle into two congruent angles.
18.) First, open the compass to have the length of AB. Then, you put the compass at point A and draw a arcs. After that, put the compass at point B and draw a arcs to intersect them at X and Y then connect.

D. 706.5 square inches

How would you write the name of a segment differently than the name of a line? What symbols would you use?
A line is a straight set of points that extend in opposite directions without ending. A ray is a part of a line that has one endpoint and extends in one direction without ending. A line segment is a part of a line between two endpoints. Both the line and segment can be designated the same way, line AB or segment AB.

How is constructing a perpendicular bisector similar to constructing an angle bisector? How is it different?
Consulting a perpendicular bisector and constructing angle bisector are similar because they both need to find where the arcs meet. They are different because a perpendicular bisector splits a segment into two congruent segments and an angle bisector splits an angle into two congruent angles.

Describe a process you would use to create the perpendicular bisector to a segment AB using only an unmarked straightedge and an unmarked compass.
First, open the compass to have the length of AB. Then, you put the compass at point A and draw a arcs. After that, put the compass at point B and draw a arcs to intersect them at X and Y then connect
