The line for the dunking machine was twice as long as the cake walk line. The line for the cake walk was half the length of the line for the hoop shoot. If there were 18 people in line for the hoop shoot, how many people were in the line for the dunking machine?

Dunking machine line = 2x.
Line for hoop shoot = 2x.

2x = 18 = No. of people in line for dunking machine.
