a candy mixture is made from two kinds of candy one kind costs twice as much per kg as the other kind.$10 worth of the less expensive candy is mixed with $8 worth of the more expensive candy to make 7kg of the mixture what is the price per kg of each kind of candy

let x = price of less expensive , so 2 x = price of more expensive
(10 / x) + [8 / (2 x)] = 7
(10 / x) + [8 / (2 x)] = 7
