Calculate the total surface area of a hollow cylinder whose radius is 15 cm and height is 20 cm.
(a)3297 cm^2 (b)1884 cm^2 (c) 3768 cm^2

b is close to the area of the outside of the cylinder (should be 1885)

c is twice b ... inside and outside (it is hollow)

a is outside plus both ends ... hollow but sealed

decisions , decisions ... pick one and "State why"
