Question

FUNCTIONS AND THEIR GRAPHS;

find f(2), F(0) AND F(-2) for each function.
(a) f(x)=3x-1
(b) f(x)=4-x^2
(c) f(x)=x^3+8
(d) f(x)=2^x

please explain how to do these questions as well. :)

(a) For f(0), plug in a zero where the x is in f(x) = 3x - 1
That will give you f(0) = (3*0) -1 = -1

f(-2) = [3*(-2] -1 = -7

Do the others the same way.


(d) In case you don't know, 2^0 = 1
