Information about a play took up 1/3 of the pages in the program. Information about the actors took up 1/4 of the remaining pages. Information about the director, the producer, and the designer took up 2 pages, and the same number of pages devoted to the actors. How many pages were there in the program?
I did 1/3x + 1/6x + 2 + 2 and then found 8 for x, is that correct?

It's 4. Not 8. 2/3x1/4=1/6. 1/6+1/3=6/12. 1-6/12=1/2. 1/2=2 pages based on the given information. 2×2=4
