1. recipe: a set of instructions that tell you how to cook something
2. *cooking*: a set of instructions that tell you how to cook something
=================================
Recipe is the right one for the definition.
What about #2? Somebody wrote "cooking" as the answer instead of 'recipe'.
If the score for #1 is four, what could be the partial score for 'cooking'?

I wouldn't give any points for 2. Cooking is a process, not a set or instructions.

I would give "cooking book" 1 point.

A cook book is a book with many recipes in it. It has instructions for cooking many different foods.
