Pretend the paranpheses are absolute value bars.

(t-7) + 3 = 4

I understand how to solve it, but what were your answers for a or a few "t"s?

Thank you!

I really think its (8) b/c 8-7=1=3=4
Thanks!
|t-7| + 3 = 4

If t-7 is positive,
t-7 + 3 = 4
t = 8

If t-7 is negative,
7-t +3 = 4
t = 6
(t-7 is negative, as assumed)

So there are two answers
