I need help on these questions. I can't find them in my textbook at all. Sorry if it's too many questions.
1.Which of the following artists used his creations to try to teach lessons of morality to viewers?
A. Mazzola
B. Tintoretto
C. Raphael
D. Bosh
I read about all these artists in my textbook but it didnt talk about teaching lessons of morality to viewers for any of them. I got help from someone, though, and they got D. Is that correct?
2. Which of the following artists was known for showing emotionalism in his portraits?
A. van der Goes
B. da Vinci
C. van Eyck
D. van der Wyden
In my textbook, it said that van der Wyden used emotionalism rather than realism, but I don't know if he made portraits or not. I was thinking maybe B could also be an option.
3. Which of the following artists was known for combining the Venetian love of colors with emotional goals of mannerisms in narrative paintings?
A. Gentileschi
B. Bruegel
C. Tintoretto
D. Leyster
I think it is C, Tintoretto.
5. Major artistic achievements in the 17th century were seen in
A. France
B. Spain
C. Germany
D. England
I couldn't find this one at all.
