area of parallelogram = base x height
area of triangle = (1/2)base x height
area of parallelogram = 8(4) in^2 = 32 in^2
32 = (1/2)(8)(height)
height = 8 inches
area of triangle = (1/2)base x height
area of parallelogram = 8(4) in^2 = 32 in^2
32 = (1/2)(8)(height)
height = 8 inches
