After reading Dragonwings I concluded the the theme of this story is family and friendship. This is apparent all throughout the story as Moon Shadow and Father encounter new events in their life together. It shows how moon Shadow learns to be respectful, a good person and to be open about himself from his father and friends.




From the beginning when his father had a dream to the end when he accomplishes it and shares the moment with friends and family to his new dream of bringing his wife home with them. All this at a time were Chinese Americans lived in a time where they faced many challenge

I appreciate the information given but I'm still having trouble. Can someone check these?
1. A couple ideas that The Giver includes is that we're all people, and its part of life to have feelings of sadness, pain, and, of course happiness and love.
I decided to do Word Watcher and Summarizer for #2. I'll figure something out for Word Watcher.
For Summarizer i believe the main idea of The Giver is that the "perfect" life in a utopian society isn't really living a true life.
